It looks like Texas Rangers outfielder Josh Hamilton‘s worst fears after injuring his shoulder in a fall while chasing down a fly ball were unfounded.
An X-ray of his shoulder came up negative so the soreness should go away in short order.
Hamilton has had an injury-filled season last year where he appeared in just 89 games all season.
